NECC Cookbook Clubs

A potluck for friends and neighbors to come together over food.

NECC’s Cookbook Clubs are once-a-month social groups where folks from all walks of life can meet, have a potluck, talk about food, and get to know each other. Cookbook Clubs offers a place to meet neighbors while learning the art of cooking.

How it Works

After taking out the same cookbook via the Mid-Hudson Library system, each club spends a month trying out some recipes or reading through the book. In preparation for each meeting, members of the club select one dish from the cookbook and bring it to share in a potluck. Members sit, eat, and talk about their experience with the cookbook (what they liked, didn't like, what they would have changed, if they could find the ingredients, etc.)

Stanford Library Cookbook Club meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 6 pm - 7pm.

Pine Plains Cookbook Club meets the 4th Wednesday of the month from 6 pm - 7 pm.
