Community Food Access Hub
NECC works with the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern, NY, The Glynwood Center for Regional Food and Farming, Tri Corner FEED, and Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, and has strong partnerships with local farms to source fresh foods that meet cultural needs. Food is provided in settings that promote dignity, self-efficacy, and wraparound services. Significant distribution occurs via our on-site food pantry which offers weekly walk-in service using a client-choice model as well as home delivery for transportation limited neighbors. The hub also delivers produce, eggs, and milk to food pantry partners throughout the region in order to reduce the logistical and cold storage burden of distributing fresh food.
Fresh Food Distribution to Local Pantries
Over the course of 2025 NECC’s community food access hub served over 4,000 unduplicated residents via the NECC food pantry as well as supporting additional residents who use the four partner pantries we serve with distribution of fresh produce, milk and eggs throughout the growing season. In 2025 the hub distributed over 338,000 lbs of food including over 131,000 lbs of fresh produce to support the nutrition security of NE Dutchess County Residents.
Farms we work with include Rock Steady Farm, Chaseholm Farm, Ayni Herb Farm, Tenmile Farm Foundation, Sky High Farm, Hudson Valley Fresh, Sister’s Hill, 6 Acre Farm, Fairfield Farm, Off The Shelf Farm and more!
Participating food pantries include the Pine Plains Food Locker, Amenia’s Vine and Branches Food Pantry, Community Action Partnership in Dover Plains and Camino Al Exito food distribution.
